These are a few of the birds I have just set up to breed for the 2009 breeding season.  We will see what they produce later on.

08-536-d-aac. A nice normal cock from last years breeding.

08-1641-d-aac. This is a nice stylish hen which I picked up from Pete Van Erp. I like her back line among other atributes.

08-533-d-aac. A CFW hen with some promise. I have her up with a CFW cock which I bought last year.

08-533-d-aac. Here is another look at the above hen.

08-B43. This was a nice cock from last year that I missed banding. He now carries a split band numbered 43.

This is an outcross which I picked up late fall 2008. He is a big bird with good body lines and a nice beak. he is a 2006 bird and a little on the old side but I will be happy if I can get at least one nest off of him.

Here is a new colour I picked up to try something different. I believe it is a Black Breasted Light Back.

I have 6 zebra finches that I've had for a few years. They were in a large cage. They picked on each other though, & plucked out wings. I felt so bad for the ones getting picked on. I found a solution. I kept separating them until I got 2 each, in 3 separate cages. I put a covered nest in each cage. They love to go in the nest off, & on, & they longer pick on each other. They are in the same room, so they still can chirp back, & forth. Yours are nice looking.
